In the world of local football, the Canvey Island Monday League continues to heat up. Week 6 saw a flurry of goals and a few surprises as the teams battled it out across three divisions.

In the Premier League division, Britannia FC scored a narrow victory over Balds Army with a 2-1 win. FC Biffta, however, displayed an impressive offensive performance, defeating Talwin Fc 5-2. The most contested match of the night came from Pulyol 4 Skin Back and Farts Fc, with Pulyol edging out their rivals 3-2 in a nail-biter.

Division 1 saw some exciting games as well. Counter No Attack caught everyone's attention with a 4-0 shutout against Canvey Are Massive. Ginger Ninjas eked out a 3-2 victory over Win Or Booze, while Top Of The Klopps dominated their match with an 8-2 win over MCHB. A tightly contested match between Thorney Bay FC and Pat The Chatters ended in a 1-1 draw.

Division 2 saw It Bends Right falling to a more potent Canvey Are Massive 2nd, who won 5-1. Net Six And Chill secured a comfortable 3-0 win over Fatzio, and Thorney Bay 2nd handed Murder On Zidanes Floor a crushing 7-0 defeat.

The top scorers of the week were FC Biffta's striker in the Premier League, Counter No Attack's forward in Division 1 and Thorney Bay 2nd's attacking midfielder in Division 2, all contributing significantly to their team's victories.
