Monday 18th March - Cannock Round-Up

It was an excellent evening of 6 a side football in Cannock on Monday which saw all teams in attendance for their scheduled fixtures, apart from a late cancellation from Murder on Zidane's Floor who return as normal on Monday 25th March.

It was 12 from 12 for Renault McCann as they edge ever nearer to that perfect season, they won in style 9-0 against third placed Sporting Bad Haircuts.  A result which almost guarantees a second placed finish for Chicken Tikka Mosalah as they drew 3-3 with Whoppas United.  Beaky Blinders move level on points with Harchester United who they beat 3-1 this week, whilst Jewventus won the battle of the bottom two, 3-0 against The Odem Chickenwingies.

Classtro Turf stay at the top of the table after their 5-0 win this week, however, the battle for the other promotion place is hotting up.  Incredibly a 12-0 win for Blink 1 Eto'o sees them move down a place due to Jammy Kodjias 13-0 win over All XI, the two teams have identical records but Jammy have scored more goals which is the only things separating the two at this stage.  Its all shaping up to a showdown on the final week of the season as the two meet.

Division Two has a new leader this week as Club Bates were 2-0 winners over JPFC, taking full advantage of Karius to Glory's 3-2 reverse suffered at the hands of Pathetico Madrid.  The two look certain for promotion though and only need another point to secure this.  However, as with Division one, it looks set to go to the final game of the season when the two meet, to decide who takes the title.

Good luck to all teams going into next weeks matches with Cannock's premier small sided football provider.
