It was a good evening's football overall in the Cannock Monday 6 a side league this week overall.  We were however disappointed to see a second non-attendance from Demba 9 Ba who have been removed from the league.  Dominos have also withdrawn from the league after completing their withdrawal notice.

It remains neck and neck at the top of the Premier Division with Harchester's 4-1 win over Club Bates seeing them move above Beaky Blinders on goal difference, Beaky also won their game v Sporting Bad Haircuts by a 2-1 score line as a single goal separates the two.  Third placed Skillage In The Village were involved in a thriller v Cannock Young Boys, they led for a lot of the game, but conceded two quickfire goals towards the end, however they managed to rescue a point in the dying seconds of the game which ended 2-2.  Aston Villagers 2-0 win over Thiago X Silva saw them move into fourth place as they cruised to victory this week.

Cannockbis Dank Council lead the way in Division One, they picked up their sixth win in seven in the form of a 2-0 victory over Bridge Rejects.  Athletico Gem Carpets got back to winning ways this week as they came out on top in a thrilling game against PeaSports, 6-3 the full time result.  The Arcade Cannock sit in fifth place after a comfortable 4-1 win over Allison Wonderland.

PG are cruising in Division Two as they notched a 9-0 win over Beacon Bombs this week.  They continue to lead the way by three points over second placed River Plate, who themselves were in lethal form in front of goal as they thrashed Expected Toulouse 10-1.  The Special Ones remain in third place but inflicted a 3-1 victory over Red Hot Chilli Knackers who drop to fourth, as they are the last of three teams tied on 10 points.  Pathetico Madrid moved up to fifth position with an impressive 4-0 victory over Lallanas In Pyjamas, whilst It Was Just Matip won their second game in succession as they beat Harriers 3-2 in an entertaining game.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Cannock's premier providers of small sided football!
