Monday 25th March - Cannock Round-Up

It was another good evening of 6 a side football in Cannock on Monday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled.

Renault McCann are closing in on the perfect season after their 13th win in a row, beating Harchester United 6-0.  Second place Chicken Tikka MoSalah were beaten heavily by third place Sporting BH, losing 5-1, although the result is immaterial as the league standings are decided.

It is still all to play for in Division One though as omne of three teams could still take the title on the final day.  Jammy Kodjias 4-0 win over Classtro Turf was enough to put them at the top of the table, just one goal better off than Blink 1 Eto'o who won 3-0 against All XI.  Classtro Turf drop to third place on the back of these results.  Jammy Kodjias and Blink 1 Eto'o meet on the final day of the season next week whilst Classtro Turf play seventh placed Sevilla Lacatalent on what promises to be an interesting night.

In Division Two Club Bates stay top of the table and have all but sealed the title following their 1-1 draw with Pathetico Madrid barring a minor miracle with goal difference on the final day.  Karius To Glory will need a win to guarantee the second promotion place after they missed the chance to seal the deal this week losing 4-1 to Ajax Your Treesdown whilst JPFC's 4-1 win over Who Ate Depays brought them back into contention to sneak into the final spot dependant on other results.

Good luck to all teams going into the final week of fixtures with Cannock's premier small sided football provider.
