8TH APRIL LEAGUE UPDATE FROM THE CANNOCK MONDAY LEAGUE

The new season kicked off this week in fine style with all teams in attendance apart from JPFC. This was disappointing as they had been contacted and kick off time confirmed for the new season. They will now be removed from the league as we can`t have unreliable teams letting everyone down.

Renault Mccann rocketed to the top of the premier division this week with an emphatic 13-0 victory over Classtro Turf in a one sided encounter. Beaky Blinders, Sporting Bad Haircuts and Harchester United all recorded victories in the premiership`s first round of fixtures as we look set to have an intense battle for the title,

Blink 1`Eto gained themselves a fine 12-3 victory over Villain FC this week in division one with Tom Clarke gaining himself the man of the match award for the early pace setters. Karius To Glory moved up to second with a steady 5-0 victory over Murder On Zidane`s Floor.

Division two saw Pathetico Madrid hit the top as they were gifted a 5-0 victory over JPFC to lead the others on goal difference. NC Hammer and Ajax Your Treesdown both registered 3-0 victories against Not In Your Mums Forest and Who Ate Depays respectively this week to hold joint second place after the first week.

Division three saw Romasexuals defeat Hawk FC 8-1 to set the standard as they aim for promotion this season. Mirror Signal Malouda, David Seaman and Smoking Barrels FC all registered tight victories this week as we look forward to a season of ups and downs!

We currently have a couple of spaces in this league and are offering FREE ENTRY for a limited period. If you are interested in joining please enter your team details online or get in contact on 0333 123 2340 if you have any questions.
