Monday 10th February - Cannock Round-up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Monday 6 a side league with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions as scheduled and all matches played in the correct spirit in challenging weather conditions with snow on the pitch.

Skillage In The Village scored a big win as far as the top of the Premier Division goes after they beat Harchester United 3-1, Harchester dropping to third and four points off the top with that result.  CF De Rugeley snuck into second spot on the back of that result after they won 4-2 against Karius To Glory.  It's looking very congested at the top as two points separate 2nd right down to 5th.

Fred West Ham won their 9th game in 11 this campaign as they top Division One by 5 points after they beat second placed Cannock Spartans 4-2.  Domino's missed the chance to go second but closed the gap by a point after a 1-1 draw with Chase Young Boys whilst Pathetico Madrid remain in the hunt with a 2-0 win over Harriers.

The top two in Division Two remain separated by just a point as The Ketty Cabbbage and HHSB drew 1-1.  In the meantime VTS missed the chance to close the gap on the top two after they suffered a 4-0 reverse against Notinmymums Forest.
