Monday 17th September - Cannock Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening of 6 a side football in Cannock on Monday with all teams in attendance throughout the night, the only exception being 'Exeter Gently' who we have now removed from the league.

Unfortunately after the conduct displayed by both teams in The Barns v It's All Gone Shane Long match we have been left with no option but to remove both teams from the league with immediate effect.  We will not tolerate violent conduct in our leagues and due to the fact that all members of both teams were involved it leaves us with no choice but to issue a blanket ban to both teams meaning none of these players will be welcome to participate in Leisure Leagues competition in future.

Although the above creates vacancies in the league we are confident that these will fill, we would rather have a couple of spaces for a short time than have teams in the league that are unable to adhere to the rules of the league.
