Monday 20th January - Cannock Round-Up

It was another superb evening's football in the Cannock Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their scheduled matches and some excellent games played across all three divisions.

Harchester United's 5-0 win against Karius To Glory sees them remain top of the Premier Division whilst Skillage In The Village moved into second place following their 9-2 win against Sporting Gibson, coupled with Beaky Blinders goalless draw against Whoppas United.  Tottenham Hotsperm moved to within a point of this weeks opponents CF De Rugeley who they thrashed 5-0, and Sporting Bad Haircuts ran out 6-1 victors against Classtro Turf who they moved above and into 6th.

Fred West Ham edged past Club Bates with a 1-0 win to remain top of Division One.  They actually moved another point clear following Pathetico Madrid's 1-1 draw against Ajax Your Treesdown, a result which sees them drop to fourth and Dominos and Cannock Spartans both won their matches.

TheKettyCabbage stayed top of Division Two as they beat Blewdoggydog 5-0, they can't shake HHSB though as they remain just a point off the summit after a 2-1 win against VTS who they moved two points clear of.  Fourth placed Norfolkinchance were beaten 3-2 by Real Hasbeens in a result which puts a dent in their promotion hopes.
