Monday 4th March - Cannock Round-Up

It was another good evening of 6 a side football in Cannock on Monday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions, the only exception unfortunately being Tower FC who have now been removed as they are unable to commit to the league.  We welcome new team Villains FC to the league as their replacement and they play their first game on Monday 11th March.

Renault McCann made it a perfect 10 this week as their 100% record continued into double figures, this week they thrashed The Odemchickenwingies 7-0 to remain four points clear of second placed Chicken Tikka Mosalah, who keep plugging away at the gap above them and won 4-1 against Beaky Blinders.    Sporting Bad Haircuts stay in third position as they beat Whoppas United 3-1.  Fourth placed Harchester rounded off the action in the top league with a 6-1 victory over bottom of the table Jewventus in a night where results went as the league table suggested they would.

In Division One Classtro Turf stay at the top of the table after another win this week, they saw off Hardly Athletic 4-2.    Meanwhile Blink 1 Eto'o and Jammy Kodjias cannot be separated in the league standings and also on the pitch, as both cancelled each other out in a game that finished goalless, just goals scored puts Jammy Kodjias in second place.    All XI saw off the Manx in a closely contested match where they ran out 2-1 winners , moving themselves off the foot of the table.

Division Two looks close in the top three but could've been even closer!  Top of the table Karius to Glory stay there after a 0-0 draw against second placed Club Bates, an ideal result for JPFC to make a move for the summit, unfortunately they couldn't do that though and suffered a 2-0 reverse at the hands of fifth placed Ajax Your Treesdown, a result which tightens the top five places up particular as Pathetico Madrid ran out 7-2 winners over Not In Your Moms Forest, just four points separating those teams with four games to play.  NC Hammer completed the action with a 4-0 win over bottom placed  Who Ate Depays.

Good luck to all teams going into the next round of fixtures with Cannock's premier provider of small sided football.
