NEW AYLESBURY THURSDAY 5 A SIDE SEASON KICKS OFF!

The first week of the Aylesbury Thursday football league kicked off to an exhilarating start. The Premier League division saw some impressive performances, with each team showing great tenacity and team spirit.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, there was a nail-biting match between Unathletico Madrid and Bowsers Barhmi Army, ending in a 4-3 victory for the latter. Despite Unathletico's valiant effort, Bowsers Barhmi Army managed to secure a narrow win.

Another captivating game saw The House FC face  Jubs Jentlemen. The final score of 6-3 in favour of Jubs Jentlemen was a testament to their superior gameplay and strategic planning.

However, the most impressive scoreline of the evening was the 12-2 victory for reigning champions Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels over Earth Wind And Maguire. This win was largely due to the exceptional performance of top scorer, Matt Gomm who netted a total of four goals for Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels, making him the joint highest scorer of the week in the Premier League.

The game between new boys FC Viitorul and FC Dynamo was also a goal fest, ending in a 13-5 victory for FC Viitorul with Madalin Filip netting 4 goals.

Amidst the exciting night, Ryan Corcoran of Jubs Jentlemen was declared the Most Valued Player of the week. Corcoran's stellar performance throughout the game made a significant contribution to his team's victorious outing.

Despite being the first week of the season, the Premier League division of the Aylesbury Thursday football league has already shown us high level competition and fantastic performances. With players and teams like these, we're all looking forward to the next match day.
