NYC FC bang start the season with their shooting boots on!

The champagne bubbles were soon settled from our league winners ANDY'S DIAMONDZ and the medals for our runners up FARMERS WEEKLY were tucked away as the new season started at a fast pace.

The opening game of the season saw the FARMERS WEEKLY run out 4-0 winners against THE VIKINGS although the result did not reflect the chances created by the losing side. A very competitive game and many signs the VIKINGS could cause some upsets this season. ANDYS DIAMONDZ also managed a 4-0 victory at the expense of YARCOMBE ATHLETIC to show they have the credentials for a league title challenge this season.

NYC FC made light work of THE ROYS although to be fair THE ROYS seemed to be in a kind mood when they gifted at least 3 goals to their opponents with some questionable defending. THE ROYS keeper was busy and although beaten on many occasions he was their star man tonight and made many great saves.

UPLYME & SINKER were hosts to HFC RAIDERS in the nights final game and  this was certainly played at a high tempo. RAIDERS came out on top with a narrow 2-1 victory.
