24TH JUNE WEEKLY UPDATE FROM THE WARWICK MONDAY LEAGUE

Another superb evening of football in the Warwick Monday 6aside league held at Aylesford School with all teams in attendance and everything running smoothly.

The league itself saw Puyol Pants Down extend their 100% record start to the season in the premiership with an emphatic 9-1 victory over Lime FC to move 2 points clear at the top. AC Cricketers and Inter Yernan remain their closest challengers as both teams recorded relatively comfortable victories this week to lie in second place on eight points.

Division one saw Wanyamas In Pyjamas continue to lead the way as they recorded a 3-1 victory over Ivan Peritits FC in a closely contested affair and increase their 100% start to the season to 5 matches. FC Copenbadley hold the same record start to the season but lie in second place despite gaining an emphatic 10-0 victory over Injury Prone this week.
