Wednesday night football results from Gosport 6 a side!

An exciting night of 6 a side down at our Gosport Wednesday 6 a side league coming to you from Bay House School.

This league is going to the wire lads. The top 3 teams have all held top spot at various points of the season, it's hard to pick a winners. All 3 deserve a lot of credit for making it such an exciting title race. Not to forget the other 9 teams who have caused upsets along the way to throw the leaders off their stride throughout the season. So on to the results, well we start with an upset as 6th place Damo's Dynamos lead by a hat-trick from the captain himself Damien Young upset the leaders at the start of play Shin and Tonic 5-3 to give both Snorting Lisbon and Past It the chance to overhaul them.

Snorting Lisbon took that chance as Kalan Kosofsky and Josh Stirling ran the show in a 7-3 win over Too Many Goals FC, Kalan's hitting 4 while Josh netted a hat-trick. This result puts Lisbon a point clear of Past It who took their chance to move up to second with a 5-2 win against Norfolk N Chance. With Lisbon now top by a point from Past It and Shin and Tonic the drama will go down to the final day next week.

Not to forget the other 3 matches last night, they were all cracking games. Pique Blinders and Fish Fingers entertained the crowds or lack of them at the moment with a 4-4 draw. Cristrin 3 and Stevens for Blinders, Oli Robbins 3 and Connor Mallen for Fingers. There was a hard fought victory for TeamPB over Centurion as Harry Leigh and Jack Bunneri smashed in the goals that gave them a 2-0 win. Last but not least Alex Brewer 2 and Cameron Malcolm were on target as Breadrins Curse beat Champagne Super Rovers 3-1.
