The Beverley 6-a-side league saw a bunch of entertaining friendlies being played this week at the Bishop Burton College, as walkovers meant there were just two official games played. 

In the Premier League, leaders Beverley La Coruna and Inter Peroni got default 5-0 wins, while Champaigne Super Rovers remained in terrific form and cruised past Viking Rangers 6-0. 

In Division 1, the only game played was a tight battle between the top two, as Jackson 5 took on Fat Fighters. With a narrow 1-0 win, the Fighters now have a seven-point lead atop the division standings.

Remember, a walkover doesn’t mean you can’t play. You can still turn up, pay and play as usual and enjoy a fun friendly against another side who may be available on the day.
