Season Approaching Halfway Stage

Game Week 6 was completed last night and things are really heating up with just 1 point separating FIVE teams!

The Academy overcame league leaders Cannonballs 1-0 in a feisty affair to go level on points, but Beverley La Coruna were the big beneficiaries as this result meant their 2-0 victory against Sal's U12's saw them climb above Cannonballs to the top of the table.

Maradona Kebab's close fought 1-0 win over Get The Sudocrem FC also brought them level with their opponents and leaves 4 teams on 8 points, just a single point behind the league leaders.

Don't take your eyes off this one for the next 8 weeks!

In Division One, a forfeit by table toppers Gylfi Swiggurdsson opened the door for the teams behind to close the gap, Little Boys Clubs did just that with a convincing 4-1 victory over Inter Peroni, while Have A Day Off and FC Club De Futbol shared the spoils following a 0-0 draw which did little to advance either team's promotion hopes.

Elsewhere, Expect Toulouse recorded a good 4-2 victory over Fat Fighters despite a scare when Fat Fighters came back from 2-0 down, but Expected Toulouse were able to get the job done. SD7 FC were the beneficiaries of Gylfi Swiggurdsson's forfeit and took the 5-0 victory.
