Monday 6th January - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a good evening of 6 a side football in Burntwood on Monday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some excellent football played across both divisions.

SOTC FC extended their league at the top of the Premier Division as they beat Tea and Busquets 2-1 to move four points clear.  That result also allowed Burntwood AFC to move level on points with second place after their 4-1 win over Mean Machine.

In Division One The Gradient's 6-0 win over Warriors Argyle saw them move an extra point clear at the top.  This is after SYM FC dropped a point with a 1-1 draw against Janine The Dream, a result which drops them to third place as New Old Boys 4-0 win over Bantalona puts them in second on Goal Difference.

Bayern Neverlusen have withdrawn from the league due to a shortage of players.  We are pleased to welcome new team Brush Your Teeth to the league as their replacement and wish them good luck going into their first fixture on Monday 13th January.
