Sunday 24th April - Burntwood Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Burntwood Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled barring Chase FC who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 1st May.

Murder on Zidane's Floor keep their place at the top of the Premier Division at this early stage, remaining undefeated so far as they were comfortable 3-0 winners against Fat FC, whilst Ringers Utd moved up to second spot and leapfrogged this weeks opponents DTFC whom they thrashed by 7 without reply!  6 Elites moved up to fifth spot this week as they claimed their first win of the campaign, beating Obese City by 3 goals without reply.  Rounding off the action was 6 Class Players and Andy and BUT FC who couldn't be separated in an entertaining encounter which ended 3 a piece.

FC Bibs lead the way in Division One as they scored 11 goals for the second time in three weeks, they swept aside Hazlewood House by an 11-1 score line this week to keep their perfect start going.  Peek Eboue have a more moderate goal difference but also have maximum points as they sit in second place, whilst Warriors and Ladzio FC shared the spoils in a game that ended 1-1.
