Match day 5 roundup

Leisure Leagues Loughborough

Premier League Roundup

Mbappe Lock In 2-2 Salad Dodgers

Two late Mbappe Lock In goals salvaged a point in a high quality Premier League game on Sunday. The Dodgers are normally quick out the block, and played some fantastic football to get the lead but in the end the draw was a fair result.

Man of the match: Aiden Lee

The Mighty Morphin Flower Arrangers 2-5 Call Me A Dad

Call Me A Dad showed their quality once again with a fantastic performance on Sunday. The yellows were first to every ball, and created more than enough chances to justify their 5 goals. The Flowers were missing captain Jordan Tinley, and will look to bounce back next week against Mbappe Lock In.

Man of the match: Lewis Sharp

The Big Wangers 7-0 Balotellitubbies

The Wangers are in the form of their lives at the minute, and the prospect of facing them always looked like a tough ask for struggling Balotellitubbies. The tubbies managed to keep it tight at first, but as soon as the first goal went the Wangers became clinical.

Man of the match: Kieran Meakin

Division One Roundup

Brexteam 3-1 Champions FC

Brexteam got their campaign back on track with a tough 3-1 over Champions FC. Champions started brightly but in the end their lack of defensive experience cost them against a clinical Brexteam side.

Man of the match: Paul Pawell

Netsix And Chill 0-0 Backup Players

The two title favourites clashed on Sunday, but unfortunately the game didn’t match up to the pre match hype. With both sides visibly nervous with so much on stake, defensive formations were put in place, meaning both teams cancelled each other out.

Man of the match: Andrew Weaver

Tuck Your Socks In 2-0 Out On Bale

Tuck Your Socks In gained Leisure Leagues bragging rights on Sunday as they won the derby day clash against bitter rivals Out On Bale. With little to choose between the teams a poor penalty miss from Out On Bale handed over the advantage to the light blues. Missing captain Connor Tinley, Out On Bale lacked organisation and were eventually tore apart by a man of the match performance by Brayden Barr.

Division Two roundup:

AC Me Rollin 5-2 I Predict A Fryatt

AC Me Rollin continued their impressive vein of form with an excellent performance against I Predict A Fryatt. The Fryatt’s have settled into their Leisure Leagues careers nicely, but had no match for the clinical finishing of the oranges on Sunday.

Man of the match: Joshua Adkin

Pinochitoe 2-0 Ivory Toast

Pinochitoe gained a well-deserved victory on Sunday as they proved too strong for Ivory Toast. Despite putting in an outstanding performance for his team, Ricky Adams could not stop the quality of Pinochitoe for the full 40 minutes.
