Darlington 6 a side New Season Starts

DARLINGTON 6 A SIDE NEW SEASON STARTS AT THE EASTBOURNE SPORTS COMPLEX

Welcome to the new 6 a side season at the Eastbourne Sports Complex. This season we welcome newcomers 'Dawson FC' & 'Peak Blinders' to the league.

Last seasons Winners 'Someone call the Bin men' were looking to get off to strong start by beating 'It's Cummin Home', however the game ended in a 0-0 draw. 'Pathletico Madrid' battled out a 3-2 win over their rivals 'Bayern Never Losing'. AAFC finally got the goal they deserved, winning the game 1-0 against league rookies 'Giroud Sandstorm'. Disappointingly 'Peak Blinders were unable to field due to a number of their players contracting Covid 19!  This led to an automatic 5 nil walk-over win for Dawson City FC, which has led to them standing proud at the top of Darlington's 6 a side no1 league!

Well done to all teams in attendance, remember there are still plenty of games to play -  Who will become Darlington's 6 a side league Champions???
