Exeter Tuesday 6 a side match day results!

All 32 teams were in attendance at our Exeter Tuesday 6 a side league down at Exwick Hub last night. We now have just one game to play this season with the title races in divisions one and two going to the final day next week.

Congratulations to our Premier League Champions Thirsty Beaver who sealed the title with a 9-5 win at relegated Aqualogics who put up in an excellent account of themselves against the champions. Wacko FC are confirmed as runners up after a 23-2 win over Meal Deal United who will be pleased to restart in Div 1 next season. Other results saw FC RO win 4-2 against Chicken Tika Taka while Queasy Nurples beat Los Cojonudos 7-3, Aiden Whitfield scoring 4 times.

FCSB edged a point ahead in the Div 1 title race as they comfortably defeated Project McFrappe 19-1 while second place CF Murrayball were held to a 1-1 draw by Spoono Fernandes. Cherries are a point behind and still have a chance of being promoted as they defeated Tiki Taka 8-4. The other game saw Crystal Phallas climb out of the bottom two and dump The Dons in the drop zone with a handsome 10-2 win over them.

It's all very tight in Div 2 with everyone seemingly able to take points off each other. Leaders Chubby Alonso's remain top despite a 3-0 loss to Chamakh. Rigor Morty's are now their closest challengers as they moved into the top two with a 3-0 win over Private FC. International All Stars drop from second to fourth as they lost 3-2 against Strawberry Moussa who are now third. The other game saw Giroud Sandstorm win 3-2 against Win Some Lose Some. The finally day will see 5 teams battle it out for promotion with only 3 points separating 1st to 5th.

Congratulations to our Div 3 champions Victor Moses Lawn who had a comfortable 7-0 win against Law Abiding Sigurdssons. Crackin Plurrs also confirmed promotion into Div 2 as they beat Robin Me Koch 3-1 at home. Charlie Dack and Corey Rogers both scored hat-tricks as they helped their Reus Cripies side win 11-3 against Unreal Madrid. Finally Sands United produced an excellent performance to beat Tinpot Town FC 4-1.

Good to see Neil back refreshed after his holiday and to all our refs along with our teams. Good luck to all teams on the final day of the season. The new season will start on the 7th June. We very much hope all teams will be staying involved but if you are unable to continue then you must let me know this week otherwise you will be automatically entered in for next season.
