Exeter back to winning ways in Gerard Buxton six a side

Royal Wootton Bassett Monday match report

It was another amazing night for six a side football in the Leisure Leagues Swindon Monday league at Gerard Buxton Sports Ground. Every team was in attendance and a great night was had by all.

In the first games of the night, There were well managed victories for Alexandre LacOfKet and Deportivo De La Greenhill who beat AC a Little Silhouetto of Milan (2-0) and Athletic Bilbao Baggins (3-0) respectfully. The second of these results was perhaps the most impressive given how well Athletic had been going recently and also ensures Deportivo jump above them in the league (albeit only on goal difference).

The second round of games were much closer than the first as each was only decided by one goal. Moyes in the Hood continued their good start since joining the league by beating Who Ate All Depays 2-1 while the game of the night saw Pique Blinders narrowly defeat new team NALGO FC.

In the final round of games The Unplayables put in the strongest performance of the night with a 7-0 thumping of The Underdogs. The lads in orange continue to go from strength to strength and now love into the top half of the table. Meanwhile Exeter got back to winning ways with a narrow win against 2 Goals 1 Cup to ensure they stay top of the league three points ahead of Pique Blinders.

Look forward to seeing you all next week!

Thanks,

Dan
