Who will stop Baileys Boys in Gerard Buxton six a side?

This is the question everyone is asking themselves after yet another dominant performance by the boys in blue.

They started the night with a tough looking encounter against Hatdley Athletic who on their day have shown they can beat anyone. Yet within five minutes Bailey’s Boys were 2-0 up and cruising. The slickness of their passing with a thing of beauty and it raises the question who will stop them this season?

In the other early kick off the Unplayableswent up against 2 Goals 1 Cup. The lads in orange have played well but lacked creativity up top. Tonight they had this in abundance. They have found their feet in the league and will now be looking to climb the table.

The next games saw Gangsters struggle without key players and they fell to another defeat this time to Bass Rugby. With the standard clearly raised this season Gangsters will also have to up their game if they are to compete for the title.

Meanwhile the other team in orange saw off the Underdogs. Who after failing to get to grips with the speed and intensity of the league in week 1 now looking like a much more serious and competitive outfit. Unfortunately they still lost but it will only be a matter of time before they have their first points on the table.

The final round of fixtures saw the other impressive team Exeter Gently go up against fellow new comers FC Guava. Like Underdogs FC Guava struggles initially to get up to speed but are now much more competitive. They have had a really bad run of fixtures since joining the league but are up and running nicely and looking to claw points back against their rivals with some easier fixtures to follow. Exeter again looked good but will need to be more clinical in the final third to challenge Bailey’s Boys for the title.

The impressive looking Athletico have quietly gone about their business so far and in the other late fixture put together another impressive performance to see off the much improved Sloblins. They sit joint top of the league unbeaten, but tougher tests are to follow.

Thanks all for a great night.

See you soon!!!
