More tight battles unfolded this week in Grimsby as the Thursday 6-a-side league rolled on at the Institute for round eight of fixtures this season.
In the Premier League, there were two very tightly-contested games: the first between Inter Young Boys and Six Offenders and the other a clash between Only Fools and Wanderers and Twente Bensons.
While all fought to the end, neither of the sides could break the deadlock as the games ended in 0-0 draws.
Kinky Konate moved up the table this week, with an assured performance seeing them into fourth after beating Rolls Reus 4-1.
Division 1 saw goals galore in the two official matches that were played this week. To start things off, leaders WB on Toure took on Exeter Gently in an exciting top-of-the-table clash that fully lived up to the billing.
WB prevailed 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller, as Exeter Gently dropped to third place as a result.
To round off the action, Haven’t Jota Clue put in a tremendous shift and thrashed Murder on Zidane’s Floor 9-1 to leapfrog them and take fifth place in the standings.
