Grimsby Tuesday 6-a-side: Approaching the end!

The Grimsby 6-a-side Tuesday league produced some more great games this week as we approach the final two gameweeks of the season. 

In the Premier League there was only one official game played, as Pamsredseats beat Only Put Matip In 3-1. The race for the title is as heated as it gets, with Tip End and Blaze Matuidi dead level on points and almost also on goal difference heading into the two final weeks. 

In Division 1, Pilly Willy and Brexit Ballers claimed 3-1 wins over Bombardiers and Egg Fried Reus, while Lamagedon edged out a 2-1 win over league leaders Hardly Athletic in a shock result, that leaves the title race just about open mathematically.

As for Division 2, the title has been sealed, as Kinky Konate's 3-1 win over Ballpark Madrid has taken them five points clear at the top with two games to go. A fitting reward and promotion for their great season lies ahead. South Humber United's 5-3 win over She Was Only XI meant they are still in the running for promotion.
