Grimsby 6-a-side Tuesday league: Results roundup
The second round of fixtures in the new season of the Grimsby 6-a-side league saw some hard-fought matches on Tuesday.
In the Premier League, Blaze Matuidi and T$1 played out a 1-1 draw, giving the latter their first point of the season. Pamsredseats then beat Balotellitubbies 3-1 to claim top spot in the standings. Tip End FC edged Seven Seas 2-1, while Romasexuals climbed into the bottom two with a 2-0 win over Grimsby Goons.
Division 1 saw Bombardiers FC work their way into the promotions spots with a 3-0 win over Studs United. Meanwhile, a resilient Millenial Mariners side managed to hold leaders Haverstoe Ultras to a 1-1 draw.
In Division 2, Boom Shake De Roon edged past Real Vets 2-1, while Released on Bale and Juan on Juan were deadlocked at 0-0. Hardly Athletic's 5-0 walkover due to UpTheStripes' unavailability helped them stay atop the table on goal difference.
