Grimsby Tuesday 6-a-side league: Weekly News

The Grimsby Tuesday 6-a-side league rolled on with lots of entertaining matches across the three divisions. 

In the Premier League, Pamsredseats took on leaders Seven Seas, and the latter carried on their strong form with a 6-2 win. Their main contenders Blaze Matuidi had a tough time, but managed to come away with a 2-1 win over Ballotellitubies, as Grimsby Goons and Tip End FC played out a pulsating 3-3 draw, while T$1 had a walkover. 

Division 1 action saw a minor upset, as a confident Haverstoe Ultras side beat leaders GY Crew 2-1, allowing Only Put Matip In to draw level with them on points, following a 6-2 win over Bombardiers. Claire Green Machines and Cycling Pique couldn't be separated, their clash ending in a 2-2 stalemate.

In Division 2, Boom Shake De Roon claimed a convincing 3-0 win over UpTheStripes. The Real Vets had a stellar outing, crushing Juan on Juan in a wonderful display, scoring nine unanswered goals. Exit and Brexit edged past Released on Bale 2-1 in a tight contest, with league leaders Hardly Athletic stayed on top on goal difference thanks to a comfortable 3-0 win over South Humber United.
