HAVANT 6 A SIDE MONDAY LEAGUE ROUND UP

Week 3 of our season unfolded last night at the Havant & Waterlooville stadium with a brilliant night of 6 a side. We have a week off next week as it's a bank holiday but last night treated us to some great games in all 3 divisions.

Starting in the Premier league where we still have two team with 100% records, former champions Cardiac Arrest and last seasons Division One winners Great British Paving. It was a great night for both teams again with Cardiac Arrest in fine form to dismantle H&W Pigeons 14 - 0, pretty rare to see a result like that in this league so well played Cardiac and hard luck on the Pigeons who i'm sure will be keen to bounce back next time they play. Ryan Haudiquet led the goal scoring with 3, backed up by the rest of the team who all got involved with the goal scoring. Jason Goldring. Jason Martin, Nick Howe and Ryan McAndrew all chipping in with a couple each on a bad night for The Pigeons.

Great British Paving won 5 - 2 against Farlington X1, Simon Batey returning with 2 goals while Ethan Rose who nearly always scores got 2 for Farlington. There was another 5 - 2 scoreline in the game between MK Dongs and Rapid Decline. MK took the points thanks to a couple of goals from Morgan Easen and Kian Bertram, a result that keeps them in touch with the front runners after 3 weeks of the season. Oli Page bagged four out of his teams 5 as Puff Puff Pass came away with the win over current champions A.W.FC. It finished 5 - 3 with Morgan Moret nicking a couple for A.W but they will be disappointed to find themselves 5th after being so dominant last season. Just goes to show how competitive these leagues are now, great to see.

Division One is led by one of our new sides AFC Mole Hill, sadly they had to take the points without a game last night as LP Underdogs didn't show up and failed to even let us know they weren't coming. Just a reminder that we MUST know if your team is away one week. If we get 7 days notice you won't be charged. Unfortunately LP will need to still pay for the game even though they didn't play because we weren't told they couldn't make it. Hopefully they will be back next week, if not there is a team desperately waiting to join the league in their place.

Just one point behind Mole Hill are Swan FC who registered a great 4 - 1 win last night over Peter File Xl, Zac Adams with a couple of goals in that one. Six Bells Vets continue their good start to the season with a 2 - 1 win over the much fancied Westy United and Island FC won a dramatic game against OAP's FC that ended 4 - 3 thanks to two goals from Max Clapp. Division One starting to take some shape now but it's still early days and much can change.

Kye Rovers have much to celebrate this week. Manager Paul welcomed a new daughter to the world and his team sit top of Div Two with a 100% win record. Harry Sutton and Jordan Evans both netted hattricks, backed up by 2 from Jim Stewart as they ran away 9 - 2 winners over Meat FC who now sit 4th in the table. Bottle Jobs also scored nine, five of them from the boot of Lee Callagham as they kept themselves in 2nd place with their win over WhatDivock. The Divocks are still searching for their 1st points but improve every week and goals from Daniel Bray, Callum Murfin and Alex Barrett will give them encouragement for the rest of the season.

Another new side in SonsDads made quite an impact with a 10 - 1 win over Leavemyarcelona, Harvey Peacham and Harrison Benfield each bagging 3 and Tyler Richardson &  Jake Peacham 2 each as they pick up their 1st points and show great potential to quickly climb this league. Finally we have Willian Your Mouth Vs Westleigh Rovers which finished 3 - 2 to Willian, a win that keeps them 3rd in the table, just a couple of points off the top while Westleigh must go again against Bottle Jobs next time out in the hope of getting their season kick started.

Huge thanks to Mike and the boys on the whistles this week, other than the LP Underdogs no show it was another brilliant night of 6 a side, congrats to all the teams that picked up points. Remember, NO GAMES next Monday, we are off for the bank holiday so will be back on April 25th. Have an amazing Easter, see you all back in a few weeks.
