MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL - 6 A SIDE

We witnessed another excellent night of 6 a side in Havant last night with all three divisions producing plenty of goals and action.

In the prem Cardiac Arrest were pegged back by a defeat to Rapid Decline, allowing Puff Puff Pass to join them on 8 points with a win over Farlington. MK Dongs also picked up a good win and H&W Pigeons had to play a points match after we were let down by AW.FC who have now left the league but will obviously be charged for the game having not given 7 days notice.

So we have a space to fill in the top flight and we will be advertising for a team this week. If you have contacts that might be looking to get a side going please do pass our details on and we will talk them through how things work.

In Division One we saw wins for OAP's FC, Island FC and Swan FC while Six Bells Vets played a points match with AFC Mole Hill away. It's a 3 way tie at the top of this division, as expected it's very close with only goal difference separating Swan, Six Bells and Island FC, it will be really interesting to see how this title race progresses over the coming weeks.

Kye Rovers remain in the driving seat in Division Two following a 5th straight win last night, they lead by 3 points from Bottle Jobs who were undone by SonsDads this week allowing Meat FC to draw level with them on points following their win over Westleigh Rovers. Willian Your Mouth took a 5 - 0 points win with Leavemtarcelona away also.

Ben Thomas was the standout performer in front of goal this week for Puff Puff Pass, netting 8 times in his teams big win. Well done Ben and all the goal scorers this week, keep up the great work.

Big thanks to Mike for managing things on the night, it's not an easy job having to deal with teams arriving, leaving, gathering goal scorers collecting footballs and supporting the refs, Mike is amazing and we are so grateful to have him down there.

Great league this one and a brilliant season so far, keep enjoying it guys, play fair and be humble. Have a great week.
