Monday Night Results from Havant & Waterlooville 6 a side

What a great Bank Holiday Monday we had and thank you to all the teams that got a side out and for being so flexible in terms of kick off times.

It wasn't easy but everyone that wanted to play did and the attitude and atmosphere was as good as it has ever been in this exciting and high quality league.

We are still looking for two new teams, one to go straight into the Premier League and one to take the last remaining space in the new Div 2 starting on 7th June.

So onto the games and Cardiac Arrest were the big winners in the Premier League, coming away with an 8 - 0 win over A3 Milan. This was their 3rd consecutive clean sheet and they now sit within touching distance of the leaders. Crane continued his fine goal scoring form with another 4 while O'Sullivan added two as the Cardiac's proved too strong this time for A3.

Don't Go Nowhere made big moves too as they came through a tight encounter with Wilfred Bony's Boys. Two more goals from Pilgrim not enough to prevent DGN picking up the crucial points in this one, who shared the goals between Grimshaw, Lambden & Mundy.

LP Hit Squad pushed up to 4th with a comfortable 5 - 0 win over West Lee Mack. Kai Gateshill picking up a hat trick for the Hit Squad.

We had points match wins for Barely Legal and Men Utd who now take over at the top of the league as we head into week 8.

In Division One there was a points match win for Bilbao Baggins and a 0 - 0 draw for Fiorentina Turner and Balotelitubbies as neither side could get there. Elsewhere we saw PFR continue their assult on the Div One title with a 4 - 3 win over Rapid Decline. Heselwood made the difference with a well taken hat trick while Rapid Decline fought hard but goals from Compton, Hayes and Tomkins weren't enough to come away with any points.

Bombs blew up at the hands of MK Dongs who ran riot and scored 8. Morgan Easen scored a hat trick and Wareham went one better with 4 which leaves Bombs in 6th after their 2nd defeat in two weeks.

Profir Georgian's hat trick was in vein for Steaua Portsmouth who fell to defeat at the hands of Unais Frauds. Grounds scored 4 for them who stay in touch with the middle of the table following this 8 - 3 win.

Thank you again to everyone who got a team out and of course to Mike, Tom and Nathan who all commented that the evening was very relaxed and enjoyable which is great to hear.

Roll on next week !
