New leaders in Div 2 at Havant Monday 6 a side

Here's a look at the results from our Havant Monday night 6 a side league held on the new 3G pitch at Havant & Waterlooville Football Club's Westleigh Park ground. We did have a couple of teams away last night, unfortunately neither let us know. Turns out both captain's were on holiday and hadn't sorted teams out. Both have apologised and will be back on the 6th September.  Please remember to book time off well in advance or at least let us know if you can't make it, even if it's late notice so we can sort a match for your opponents. Mike managed to sort out a match for Rapid Decline but unfortunately couldn't for Unais Frauds, with some notice this could of been avoided.

In the Premier League LP Hitsquad fell a point behind Don't Go Nowhere as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Wilfred Bony's Boys while Don't Go Nowhere cruised to a 10-0 win over a understrength Bilbao Baggins side who were missing a few regulars. LP Hitsquad scored through Kai Gateshill while Bony's goals came from Jamie Langley. Goalscorers for Don't Got Nowhere were Legg 5, Mcandrew 2, Grimshaw, Lambden and Litton. Reigning champions Cardiac Arrest keep winning as they defeated The Fox 9-0 with goals from Crane 4, Johnson 3 and Regan 2 while Barely Legal won 4-1 against Puff Puff Pass. Legal's strikes from Sillence 2, Huntley and Stone while Newnham registered for Puff Puff.

The top two in Div 1 are neck and neck going into the final few weeks of the season as the leaders West Lee Mack won 6-1 against Rovers and second place LPU beat Tangtastic 5-1 to stay level on points. West Lee goalscorers were Burfoot 3, Spanner 2 and Eccott with Ward getting one back for Rovers. LPU struck through Russell 2, Biles, Skinner and Robinson with Heselwood scoring for Tangtastic. MK Dongs continue to stay in touch with the top two as they stay in third with a 4-1 victory against Meat FC. Morgan Essen scoring a hat-trick, Wareham with the other for Dongs while Drew netted for Meat. Rapid Decline got a game despite Bombs not appearing as they took on LPU. The results goes in as a points match win for Decline.

RM Crossfit are back on top of the Div 2 table as they wrapped up an important win over Swan FC beating them 4-1. Goals from Turner 2, Adams and Bakeer did the trick as they went above Westy. Owen Read did manage to get himself on the scoresheet for Swan FC. Westy United lost 2-1 in a great match with Goal Diggers who have put themselves right into the promotion picture. Diggers scored through Toby and Tommy Appleby while Christy scored for Westy. Diggers are now just a point outside the promotion places. Unais Frauds picked up a points match win due to Steaua Portsmouth not attending while in the other match Willian Your Mouth won 3-1 against Kye Rovers Res. Clarke, Foster and Carter for Willian while Buck hit the target for Kye Rovers.

Thank you to all our teams, remember the league is not on over bank holiday weekend so enjoy the sunshine and rest of the summer and see you on the 6th September. Thank you as always to Mike for running the night and to our refs. See you all soon, Thanks Rich
