Boston 6-a-side Monday league: Results Roundup

11/04/2022

The Haven High Academy pitches saw some enthralling clashes in the Boston 6-a-side Monday league. Goals were plentiful across all three divisions.

Division 1 saw both the highest-scoring encounters of the matchweek, as league leaders Real Ale Madrid ran riot against Tekkerslovakia, winning 9-1 in what was the biggest margin of the week by some distance.

Boom Xhakalaka climbing out of the relegation spots after an incredible 7-3 win over Pedoplarks FC. Who Ate All Depays beat Borussia Teeth 4-1 to climb over them into second place.

The Premier League had lots of walkover wins atop the table, with no movement anywhere in the division. Despite their default 5-0 wins, Boston FC and FC Hasbik in second and third turned up as usual and played out some casual friendlies to have some good fun.

Division 2 had some intense clashes and a few upsets as well. Table-toppers ImJustBeta were shocked by fifth-placed Intermivan, as the visitors pulled off a 2-1 away win.

Fritzls Basement Boys also moved closer to being top of the table with a comfortable 6-1 win over Boston Man V Fat FC. They are now right behind ImJustBeta, only by a goal difference of three. The Torretos and Sands United played out a crucial game to try and inch their way out of the bottom two, with the latter claiming their first win of the season in a 2-1 result.
