Boston Monday 6-a-side: Crazy matches!
All three divisions of the Boston Monday 6-a-side league were jam-packed with goals this week. Here are some of the key results.
In the Premier League, we only had one official match played as there are two vacant spots in the league and one team was unavailable. However, that one match saw a cracking display from league leaders SpankYa, as they crushed Romania 7-1.
Division 1 had similar result, with Boom Xhakalaka prevailing 7-1 over PedoPlarks FC to close the gap on them in fourth place. Real Ale Madrid prevailed 6-3 over Tekkerslovakia in a thrilling match, but still were overtaken for top spot on the table on goal difference due to Tattoo Crew's walkover. Remember, even if you don't have an official match, you can pay and play as usual in a casual, fun friendly against another opponent assigned on the day.
Meanwhile, it was Division 2 that provided the most exciting results this week, with some crazy high-scoring games. Second-placed ImJustBeta annihilated Intermivan 12-1, Sands United Boston crushed the Torretos 9-2 and Bank Lads won 8-4 against Martin Boys FC in a truly ludicrous set of fixtures.
