Boston Monday 6-a-side league: Crazy high-scoring games!
All the sides across the three divisions of the Boston Monday 6-a-side league were in a free-scoring mood this week, with lots of really entertaining matches on show at the Haven High Academy.
Premier League action kicked off with the league leaders Boston FC setting the tone for the evening in style, demolishing opponents Sons Of Pitches 10-1. The rest of the matches in the division were walkovers, but PedoPlarks FC managed to have a nice outing with a friendly against Romania, who also got a walkover. Remember, even when you have walkovers or points matches, you can turn up, pay and play in a friendly against another opponent assigned on the day.
In Division 1, more craziness followed, Real Ale Madrid started off with a 6-4 win against Boom Xhakalaka in an end-to-end encounter. League leaders Tattoo Crew and Who Ate All Depays decided to up the ante even further, with the former winning 7-5 in a twelve-goal thriller.
And it didn't stop there, as Division 2 kept up the entertainment. Fritzls Basement Boys edged out Martins Boys FC 5-3 in another pulsating match, with Bank Lads winning over Intermivan 5-2. Sands United Boston took on Boston Man V Fat FC in a clash of seventh versus sixth and swapped positions with their opponents, beating Man V Fat 7-3 in another mental game.
And finally, ImJustBeta also claimed a solid 5-2 win against the Torretos.
