Goals difference separates the top two at Chatham 5 a side

There's now just one more week of action to go as the Chatham Monday 5 a side season comes to a end.

It couldn't be any closer at the top of the Premier League as Retired FC strengthened their goal difference advantage with a 8-0 win over Skinners FC. Goals spread throughout the team with Tay grabbing a hat-trick while Callum 2, Kai 2 and Keiran got the others. Murder On Zidane's Floor had to work hard to seal a 4-3 win over third place Maradona Kebab as captain Luca Gose scored a hat-trick to add to a strike from Billy Morgan. Ash Smith with two and another from Dave for Kebab. Weinsteins failed to show for their points match so we will be contacting them this week to find out what happened.

Scottswood and AC Me Rollin set up a winner takes all match next week between each other as they both won last night. Scottswood are top by a point as they beat third place Bayer Neverlosen 6-4. Div 1 top scorer Rob Kinzett scored a hat-trick while captain Craig Taylor and Ricky Fernandez also scored. Wells 2, Green and Billy for Bayer. Ben Frost was the hat-trick hero for AC as they defeated 6* Skills 5-1 while the other match saw a one sided affair as Holcombe Goons won 12-0 against 66 Lions. Goals from Jimmy 6, Joe 3, Alex and Tom 2.

Thank you to all our teams. The title races are wide open in both divisions going into the final day so plenty to play for. The new season will start on 23rd August. Big thank you to Ash, Nicola and Kelly for reffing. See you all next week. Thanks Rich
