New leaders in both divisions at Chatham Monday 5 a side

We had a full house at Chatham Monday 5 a side for the last round of matches before the Christmas break with all sides in attendance as usual. Both divisions are wide open with three games left to play this season and there's new leaders going into Christmas.

At the top of the Premier League Issac fired in a brace for Skinners FC who inflicted a first defeat of the season on reigning champions Maradona Kebab 2-0.  The win takes Skinners above Kebab and a point clear at the top. AC Me Rollin are third and 3 points behind Skinners as they picked up a points match win last night with a game against Gylfi. In the other Prem match Macs captain Nathan Daniels scored a hat-trick to help his side seal a 5-2 win over Scottswood.

Div 1 is so close this season with just one point separating the top 4 teams. We have new leaders on goal difference as Charlie and Rose both scored twice to give Walderslade a 4-1 win over the leaders at the start of play Gylfi Pleasures. Amazingly Gylfi drop to 4th place but are still only a point behind the new leaders. Sandwiched in between are Meat Heads who are level on points with Walderslade after a narrow 4-3 win over Woodbleak, Woodbleak can count themselves unlucky this season after some decent performances against the top sides. Crossley are up to third as they had a comfortably 6-0 win over Get Your Scally Out, captain Dextter Roberts scoring a hat-trick.

Thank you to all our teams this season and to our match night supervisor Ash along with refs Jake, Kelly and Nicola. Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year, see you on the 10th January, Cheers Rich
