Chatham Monday 5 a side results!

We reached the halfway point of the season at our Chatham Monday 5 a side league last night. After a good start for England in the World Cup earlier in the day it was good to see all teams in attendance bar one.

Cats On Tour remain top of the Premier League table after 6-2 home win against new team Cantium 5s. AC Me Rollin are just a point behind them after they rose to second with an impressive 7-1 win over Obi Wan Iwobi, Ben Carlile scoring a brace. The other Prem result saw Pheasant Pluckers win 8-2 at home to Mush Men, Ash Smith with a hatty for his team.

Ji Sung Park The Bus look a class above in Div 1 as they went top of the table with an emphatic 16-3 home win against Dirt Washers, captain Kane Andrews top scoring with 6 goals. Bligh A Side drop to second due to being away which gave Beercelona a 5-0 win. The other game in Div 1 saw Scottswood win a close one against Macs 4-3.

There was a shock result in Div 2 as Get Your Scally Out FC won for the first time this season, beating leaders Skinners 5-2 and ending their 100% record. Old Willies are now up to second and level on points with Skinners as they won 10-5 against MrsBrandtsBoys, Charlie Kemp and Tom Carney both with hat-tricks. Woodbleak drop to third in the table as they fell to a 5-1 home defeat to Workrate who remain 4th.
