Top 3 pull away at Chatham 5 a side

It was business as usual for Retired last night as the reigning champions kept themselves ahead of the rest with a thumping win against AC Me Rollin. Played 4 won 4 is a familiar tale for the leaders but to have bagged 49 goals in the process is quite a feat and it looks like it will take something special to knock them off the top again this season.

Maradona Kebab are keeping pace currently though and also registered a 4th win out of 4 as they ran out comfortable winners against bottom side Scottswood, keeping a clean sheet in the process.

So is it a two horse race for the premier league title? Weinsteins Wandererers will hope not and the stayed on the pace with a 6 - 2 win against Outonbale who's week one draw at AC Me Rollin remains their only point of the campaign so far.

There is a long way to go in this division still but early signs are that it's going to be tight at the bottom to see who can stay up and who will drop to Division 1.

Moving to the 2nd flight and things are much closer here at the top. APDWay lead with 4 wins from 4 with a healthy goal difference of plus 12, this was helped by a solid 2 - 0 win against bottom side Bayer Neverloosen who along with 6* Skills remain on a single point from 4 games. 6* Skills themselves were undone by Ladzio who found the net 3 times to hang on to the coat tails of the leading pack in the hunt for promotion.
Both in that pack and playing out the most competitive game of the week are Skinners and Stella Kings with the latter grabbing the win 3 - 2 to remain 2nd on 6 points.

This division is going to be a closely fought affair with little it seems between the top 4, it will be fascinating to see how things stand come the end of May.

Thanks as always to Ash and the guys for reffing and running the night, We go again next Monday!
