In the Sunday 6 a side league at Honeywell Sports Centre there were some excellent matches played.

The opening fixture of the evening saw last season’s Premier League runners up Warriors beat last season’s division one champions High as a Kuyt 2 – 0 with Mark the man of the match for Warriors.

Ruud Van Nipplejoys beat We Though This Was Hockey 6 – 0 with Joe Burrell scoring five goals and Tyler Whitehead named man of the match.

New comers No Fuchs Given drew 1 – 1 with Sneaky Russians with Lewis the man of the match for No Fuchs Given.

HIV Eindhoven continued their unbeaten start to the season inflicting a first defeat on Old Town. The score was 5 – 1 with Marty Farrar man of the match for HIV.

Pathetico Athletico beat Making Emile of It 3 – 0 with Richie man of the match for Pathetico.

Poggy Reds almost pulled off an unbelievable comeback but in the end went down 3 – 2 to Sex, Drugs and Carlton Cole with Connor receiving the man of the match award for Carlton Cole.

And Rikki Roll beat Occasionally United 2 – 0 with Mark the man of the match for Rikki Roll.
