Hull Tuesday 6-a-side: Brand New Season!

The Hull Tuesday 6-a-side league returned this week to the Hull College pitches for a brand new season of footballing action. 

Opening matchday did not disappoint, as we saw lots of great contests and goals. 

Regning champions Peel Street kicked off their title defence in style, crushing Jigsaw 9-0 to begin the new campaign. 

Offshore Wanderers finished runners-up last season, but their quest to go one better started off shakily, as a terrific Gardeners side dispatched them for a 5-2 win. 

To cap off the action, Inter the Pub managed a solid win against Hanging by a Fred to start their campaign. After the first round, they are in third, where they finished last time around, but will be hoping to improve that finish.
