4 way tie in Leisure Leagues Kingsdown six a side

It was crucial night on Monday in the Leisure Leagues Swindon six a side from Kingsdown School. In what is proving to be one of the most competitive and compelling leagues around we now have a 4 way tie at the top of the table after DFA beat WTSKT. Where the league trophy will eventually end up is anyone’s guess but it promises to be enthralling

In the first game WTSKT went into a crucial game against DFA as the only team to have a 100% record. They also hadn’t conceded a goal in their first four games. This all came to an end as they were beaten 2-0 by Harrison’s men. The result throws the league wide open leaving both of these teams tied on 8 points alongside Who Ate All Depays and Tidy Box.

Next up was the turn of Swinn and Chicken Flatbread. Both of these teams found themselves languishing near the wrong end of the table. However, the game was enjoyable as both teams got the ball down and play. It was a case of you attack we attack and the game finally finished up 3-2 to Chicken Flatbread who got their first win of the season.

In the third game of the night Depays continued their impressive run with a 3-1 win against Oxford United. The win was massive for Depays as they look to keep pace with Tidy Box not just in the points column but the goals scored column as well.

Finally Tidy Box received a points match victory after Stinging Rogers withdrew from the league. The win has seen Tidy Box go to the top of the table courtesy of the sheer number of goals they have scored however, it is still incredibly close between the top four teams and it’s possible to see any of them walking away with the trophy.
