DFA and Tidy Box our in front in Swindon six a side

It was a crucial night on Monday in the Leisure Leagues Swindon six a side at Kingsdown School. The league has turned on its head for What’s The Story Kolo Toure after two defeats in a row has seen the slip back. The beneficiaries of this has been Tidy Box and DFA who have hit the front. At the other end of the table Swinn benefited from a points match to pick up their first points of the season.

In the first game of the night Tidy Box continued their good run of form against a decent Oxford United side by securing a 4-2 victory. The win means Tidy Box are now top of the league level on points with DFA. Oxford on the other hand sit comfortably mid table.

In game 2 Who Ate All Depays put in an outstanding performance to beat WTSKT 3-0. The victory was impressive considering the form WTSKT had been in prior to this game. The victory takes Depays above WTSKT courtesy of goal difference. Both will still fancy their chances of winning the title but know that beating the teams above them will be crucial in this ultra competitive league.

The final game of the night DFA take on Chicken Flatbread who were making their final appearance in the league. DFA won the game 4-2 which ensured they stated joint top. However, they are along way behind Tidy Box in the goals scored column and will need to do something about this if they are going to challenge for the league title in what promises to be the closest title race yet!
