Oxford United join Swindon six a side

I am delighted to announce that Oxford United have joined the LEISURE LEAGUES Swindon Monday six a side at KINGSDOWN SCHOOL. 

The team becomes the latest team to join the league which now has only one space available. We are half way through the season but there is still plenty to play for for teams wishing to join the league. The lads were encouraged to join the league in order to come together and play football as a group of mates. .

Vice Captain Josh said: “We are really excited to get started. We want to come and play in a well organised and competitive league environment. We all love footballer and this game represents an opportunity for us to come together as an group of friends and have a laugh.”

Calling themselves Oxford United will no doubt set up an intriguing rivalry with Swinn who are all passionate Swindon Town fans. I for one cannot wait for that game to take place.
