MERTHYR MONDAY 6 A SIDE LEAGUE NEWS 18TH JANUARY 2022

All the latest news for the Merthyr Monday 6 a side league direct from the Merthyr Town Football Club.

It was a good night of action in the league with the teams in attendance playing some great football and scoring plenty of goals.

We had one team not in attendance as Merthyr Mewlers failed to attend and also failed to inform anyone of their absence. They will be contacted to confirm they are back in attendance next week as normal.

Also looking to attend next week will be our newest team to the league as Screwys Boys have registered for the league and will also be contacted to confirm they can start next week.

We had a serious injury during the game between Suck Umtitis and Gurnos Gunners which resulted in the match being abandoned with 10  minutes to go. We wish the player from Suck Umtitis well and a speedy recovery. Both team captains will be contacted to confirm what will happen with this fixture.
