Weekly Update - 10th September 2018 (Game 13/14)

50 Shades set the bar tonight by beating Inter Ye Nan 4-1 and moved ever closer to 3rd place whilst Inter Ye Nan remained hovering above the relegation area. FortniteFatBoys continued to rack up the points beating Expected Toulouse 2-1, leaving them in a vulnerable position to be relegated.

Ivybuild maintained their 100% win record due to Real Sosobad unable to field a team due to injuries, leaving themselves on the verge of relegation with a must win game next week with Expected Toulouse.

Unfortunately there must have been something in the water as both Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtles and Chicken Odemwingies found themselves struggling to field a team so the game goes down as a 0-0 draw. Suffice to say all 3 teams unable to play tonight will be back next week for the final game of the season.

Division 1:

Argentina Turner remain top of the league after demonstrating a 3-0 win against Football Friends, however Pique Blinders were hot on their tails with a 4-1 win themselves of Law Abiding Sigurdssons. This means the winner of the league will go down to the final game.

Bottom of the league The Oaklands Phoenix put up a great fight in their match against Bayern Never Losing, however they were beaten 2-1 in a tight contest, whilst Phill Babbs Sack kept close behind with a 1-0 win over 2 Goals 1 Cup.

Division 2:

Norfolk and Chance struggled to get their normal scoring rhythm with a 0-0 draw against Game of Throwins whilst top half contenders Springfield Green beat their close rivals Unathletico Madrid 3-1.

Waltham Wanderers only just about got the better of bottom club AFC Comms-Express with a tight 2-1 victory, whilst Balls Deep got a 5-0 walkover against Lallanas in Pyjamas after a first ever game missed due to insufficient players. They'll be back next week to ensure they don't drop further in the table!

Other News:

Once again we had a good set of our new teams come down to get used to the games ahead of the new season staring 24th September, with ADP, Chelmsford Athletic, Six Offenders, Willian Dollar Baby and Wallop Wanderers all dusting off those boots tonight.
