Monday 26th September - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance apart from Real Sosobad who failed to notify us they could not make the game and have therefore been removed and replaced.  

We welcome new team Grews Soldiers to the league as a replacement for the above and wish these good luck going into their first fixture on Monday 3rd October as they face Warriors!

In the two league games that took place in the Premier Division, both ended in 4-1 scorelines, wins for Warriors over Team 12 and Haven't Got a Kalou against TTAMMI.

Division One is shaping up nicely for Dad Bods as they got their second win on the bounce this week, edging past Murder on Zidane's Floor by a single goal to get their second clean sheet in a row.  Combo FC got their season up and running with a well earned 5-1 win over Champagne Super Rovers, whilst Mick Huffers and Konig UK couldn't be separated as the two played out an entertaining 3-3 draw.
