Monday 27th June - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football this week in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league as the new season got underway in the newly formatted two division set up!  We were pleased to see all teams in attendance for their matches barring Cat and Genny who had players on holiday so cancelled with 7 days notice, they return to action on Monday 4th July.

Warriors got off to a good start as they look to retain their title, they were 2-0 winners over FC Benidorm in a well competed game, whilst Mass Debaters won an entertaining game against Haven't Got a Kalou by a 3-2 scoreline.

In Division One TTAMMI's recent revival continues, they got off to a flyer beating new boys Champagne Super Rovers 5-0.  Real Sosobad looked impressive as they were 3-1 winners against Combo FC, whilst Murder on Zidane's Floor shared the spoils in a 4-4 draw with Dad Bod Athletic in an end to end game.
