Sunday 13th October - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was an excellent start to the new season in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some entertaining matches played across both divisions.

Exeter Gently set the bar this week as they beat last season's third placed team Sky Blues 5-0 .  Inter YN were 3-1 winners over Jack's Army whilst there were draws between Up The Adders and Hardly Athletic (1-1) and SN Dons and newly promoted Trees Are May played out a 3-3 thriller.

In Division One Misfits were the big winners of the week as  they blew away Flash's Young Boys 6-0, whilst Cheeky Milandos and Extra Special Ones were 3-0 winners in their matches against Dixy Pigeons and Hardly Athletic respectively.  There was nothing to separate Deportivo LF and Egg Fried Reus who played out an entertaining 2-2 draw.
