Sunday 1st May - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night barring The Purples FC who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 8th May.  Egg Fried Reus were also missing but had given us the required 7 days notice and we look forward to welcoming them back to action this week.

Second placed Exeter Gently suffered a second defeat on the spin this week as they were beaten by Hardly Athletic 2-1 in a closely contested game, with a recently relegated Hardly playing with no pressure.  The Allies were 8-3 winners over Cheeky Milandos in an entertaining encounter.  Up The Tics moved level on points with Borussia Teeth going into the final week of the season, as they were 3-1 winners, whilst Yerrr edged past Jack's Army 1-0 in a tightly contested match.

Extra Special Ones won the only league game in Division One this week as they strolled to a comfortable 4-1 victory over Misfits.
