Sunday 31st March - Nuneaton Round-Up

It was an excellent start to the new season at Nuneaton Academy on Monday with the only disappointment being the failure to attend from TBDB FC who have now been removed from the league.

On the field there were some entertaining matches played, an 11-1 thumping the result of the day as Exeter Gently showed no mercy against Misfits.  Inter YN also got off to a winning start as they beat last seasons champions Jack's Army 3-2 whilst newly promoted Dark Fruit lost their debut game in the Premier Division 1-0 against Cheeky Milandos.

In Division One, Madeleine Milan were 4-0 winners over recently relegated Sky Blues 87, whilst Mean Machine put in a professional performance as they were 2-0 winners against Egg Fried Reus and Dixy Pigeons got off to a good start with a 1-0 win over Hardly Athletic.  There was nothing to choose between Extra Special Ones and Real Sosobad who both played out a 1-1 draw.
