19TH MAY LEAGUE UPDATE FROM THE NUNEATON ACADEMY SUN LEAGUE

Another excellent evening in the 6 aside league held at The Academy Sports Centre in Nuneaton with all teams in attendance and everything running as scheduled.

Exeter Gently extended their 100% record for this campaign to 8 matches as they ran out comfortable 8-2 victors against Jack`s Army to maintain their 3 point lead at the top of the premier division. Deportivo LF remain in second on goal difference as they came through a tricky encounter against bottom side Misfits with a 2-1 scoreline. This was matched by 3rd place Inter YN whose opponents were Cheeky Milandos who lost ground in fourth place on this weeks opponents.

Division one saw Mean Machine register their 6th victory of the season with a narrow 1-0 victory over Dixy Pigeons to maintain their one point lead over Sky Blues 87. Sky Blues 87 showed their class and clinical finishing this week as they gaine a fine 3-0 victory over 3rd placed Extra Special Ones. Bottom side Hardly Athletic showed a determined effort in their match this week against Madeline Milan and were unfortunate to suffer a 1-0 loss in a closely contested match.
